We are a small business that opened in November 1999 in the west side of Shotton in Flintshire.
Back in 1999 we saw the need for a shop that could buy in items that were no longer needed by housholds around Chester, Deeside, Flint, Mold, and other local areas, then resell them at reasonable prices in the local community. Since that time, and with the expanded growth of the internet and broadband facilities, we have expanded our sales too, trading worldwide with small objects and with some larger ones too.
In todays world, the experts say that it is vital to combat global warming by recycling everything ... We at Allsorts are playing our part in that process.... by gathering washing machines, washer dryers, tumble dryers, electric cookers, together with other domestic and commercial electrical appliances from the general public and from businesses in the local and regional communities, testing, then recycling, or reselling the tested working parts from those appliances, we at Allsorts are playing our part towards Saving The Planet. Any appliances it is economically viable to repair get repaired and resold in the secondhand shop and/or on the internet.
We also buy and then re-sell good quality secondhand furniture and working domestic appliances. We also buy and sell some laptops, games, consoles, mobile phones, hifi, cameras & other photographic, etc. as long as the price is right.
